Dasma Design Lab / GCC / United Arab Emirates

Your web & marketingdepartment across the UAE.

Bilingual Arabic/English websites, brand identity, paid ads, content and custom CRM software for businesses in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates — run from one desk in Al Karama.

Yes — Dasma Design Lab is based in Al Karama, Dubai, and serves businesses in all seven emirates. Everything we deliver is online, so a company in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah gets the same fixed written price, the same two-week delivery target and the same bilingual Arabic/English build as a client ten minutes away. What changes from emirate to emirate is small: the licence details in your footer, the audience you sell to and which payment gateway suits your bank.

How does working with a Dubai team look from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or the Northern Emirates?

The same as it looks from Dubai. We run every project over WhatsApp, email and video calls, in Dubai time (UTC+4), which is the time zone of every emirate. There is no site visit to schedule and nothing you have to drive to Al Karama to sign.

  • Kickoff call (30–45 minutes on video): we agree the pages, the languages, the deadline and who approves what.
  • Shared folder for your logo, photos, text and licence details — you drop files in, we confirm receipt the same day.
  • Staging link within the first week, so you review the real site on your own phone, not a PDF mock-up.
  • Approvals on WhatsApp: a voice note or a one-line reply is enough to move to the next step.

Our target is delivery within two weeks of kickoff, which depends on your content and approvals arriving on time. If you prefer to meet in person before you commit, you are welcome in Al Karama — but most UAE clients outside Dubai never need to.

What is different about building a website for the UAE market?

Four things come up on nearly every UAE project. None of them is hard, but each one is worth settling before design starts.

  • Domain. A .ae (or Arabic .امارات) domain is registered through a registrar accredited by the UAE's domain authority, aeDA. It signals a local business and ranks well for UAE searches. A .com works fine too; many clients hold both. Confirm current eligibility rules with the registrar.
  • Licence and legal footer. Mainland companies (licensed by the emirate's economic department) and free-zone companies (licensed by their zone authority) usually show the legal entity name and licence number on the site. The wording differs by authority — check what yours requires.
  • Data protection. The UAE's federal Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) applies to most businesses collecting customer data online. In practice that means a clear privacy policy, consent on forms and a sensible cookie notice. Keep this general in your mind and confirm specifics with a legal adviser; we build the mechanics.
  • Payments. UAE online shops typically use Telr, Network International, Stripe UAE or a bank-provided gateway, and increasingly add Tabby for buy-now-pay-later. Which one suits you depends on your bank, your volumes and whether you need AED only or multi-currency.

Beyond these, the UAE is a bilingual market with an English-heavy expatriate majority and an Arabic-first Emirati and GCC customer base. Most of our UAE sites ship in both languages with proper right-to-left layout — see our note on bilingual Arabic/English websites.

Which services do UAE businesses most often take from us?

Across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah the pattern is consistent.

  1. A bilingual business website that explains the service, shows the work and converts a visitor into a WhatsApp enquiry or call — our web design service.
  2. Google Ads and Meta Ads targeted to the emirates and neighbourhoods the business actually serves, with conversion tracking set up properly from day one — paid advertising.
  3. Brand identity for new companies and rebrands: logo, colours, Arabic and English type pairing, and files that work on screen and in print — brand strategy & identity.
  4. Content and social management for restaurants, clinics, salons and retailers who need a steady Instagram and Google Business Profile presence — content & social.
  5. Custom CRM and ERP software for trading companies, contractors and service firms that have outgrown spreadsheets — custom software.

Businesses that want all of this handled by one team on one monthly plan take full-service marketing, which adds Google Business Profile, CRM, tracking and reporting.

What does it cost in the UAE, and how do you pay?

We give a fixed written price before any work starts, and we quote in AED. There is no hourly billing and no surprise at the end.

Typical GCC market ranges for websites:

  • One-pager — from AED 1,500
  • Brochure site (5–8 pages, one language) — from AED 4,000
  • Bilingual Arabic/English business site — from AED 9,000
  • E-commerce store with payment gateway — from AED 15,000

For brand identity, advertising management, content, custom software and the full-service retainer, see our pricing page. Payment is by bank transfer to a UAE account; a rush within three days carries a fee. Our post on website cost in Dubai explains what moves a quote up or down.

Does Arabic-first matter in the UAE, or is English enough?

It depends on who buys from you. A B2B software firm selling to expatriate managers in Dubai Internet City can live with English. A clinic in Sharjah, a contractor bidding for Abu Dhabi work or a retailer in Ras Al Khaimah loses customers without a proper Arabic version.

Our default recommendation for a UAE business is bilingual, with English as the landing language in Dubai and the choice of default language decided by your customer base elsewhere. Either way the Arabic is written, not machine-translated, and the layout is genuinely right-to-left — menus, forms, numbers and icons included.

Questions people ask

Do you serve Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, or only Dubai?
All seven emirates. Everything we deliver is online, so a business in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah or Fujairah gets the same fixed price, two-week target and bilingual build as a Dubai client.
Can you register a .ae domain for me?
Yes. We register it through an aeDA-accredited registrar in your company's name, so you own it outright. Eligibility rules for .ae are set by the registry — confirm the current requirements with the registrar.
Do I need a UAE trade licence before you build my website?
You need a licence to trade, and most authorities expect your legal name and licence number on the site. We can start design while your licence is being issued and add the footer details before launch. Confirm the exact wording with your licensing authority.
Which payment gateway should a UAE online shop use?
Telr, Network International, Stripe UAE and bank gateways are all common; Tabby is the usual buy-now-pay-later add-on. We recommend based on your bank, expected volume and whether you need multi-currency, then integrate it so you hold the merchant account.
