Your web & marketingdepartment for Saudi Arabia.
Arabic-first bilingual websites, brand identity, paid advertising, content and custom CRM software for businesses in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and across the Kingdom — delivered remotely from Dubai.
Yes — a Dubai-based web and marketing department can serve a Saudi business well, and we do. Dasma Design Lab works from Al Karama, Dubai, one hour ahead of Riyadh, delivering Arabic-first bilingual websites, brand identity, Google and Meta Ads, content and custom CRM software to companies in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and beyond — entirely over WhatsApp and video calls. What changes in Saudi Arabia is the detail: .sa domains, Maroof for e-commerce, Mada and local payment options, and ZATCA e-invoicing when software touches invoices.
How does remote delivery work between Dubai and Saudi Arabia?
Dubai is UTC+4 and Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam are UTC+3, so we are one hour ahead of you for the whole working day. The UAE works Monday to Friday and most Saudi businesses work Sunday to Thursday, which gives four fully overlapping days; we schedule Saudi kickoffs and review calls Monday to Thursday and keep WhatsApp as the running channel in between.
- Kickoff on video (30–45 minutes): scope, pages, languages, who approves, and the two-week target date.
- Content in a shared folder: logo, photos, Arabic and English text, commercial registration details for the footer.
- Staging link in week one so you review the live build on your phone in Riyadh, not a mock-up.
- Approvals by WhatsApp; a voice note is fine.
There is no travel, no visa and no office to visit. Everything we hand over — domain, hosting, code, ad accounts, data — is registered in your company's name, so you are never dependent on us to keep the lights on. Our post on the two-week website process walks through the week-by-week plan.
What is different about building a website for the Saudi market?
Saudi Arabia has more local rules that touch a website than most GCC markets. The list below is what usually comes up; confirm current requirements with the named authority before you rely on any of it.
- .sa domains. A .sa or .السعودية domain is managed by SaudiNIC under the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST) and generally requires a Saudi commercial registration (CR). If you do not have one yet, a .com launches immediately and the .sa can be added later.
- Maroof for e-commerce. Online stores selling to Saudi consumers typically register on Maroof, the Ministry of Commerce's e-store registry, and display the badge. It builds trust with Saudi shoppers and is often expected.
- Payments. Mada is non-negotiable for Saudi consumers; most stores add Apple Pay, STC Pay and a buy-now-pay-later option such as Tabby or Tamara. Your gateway must be licensed for Saudi Arabia and settle in SAR — your bank will have a preferred partner.
- ZATCA e-invoicing. If a custom CRM or ERP generates invoices for a Saudi entity, the invoice format and reporting have to comply with ZATCA's e-invoicing phases. We build to the spec your accountant confirms; we do not guess.
- Data protection. Saudi Arabia has its own Personal Data Protection Law, overseen by SDAIA. Expect a privacy policy, consent on forms and care around where customer data is stored. Some regulated sectors require in-Kingdom hosting; most SMEs do not — check with your adviser.
Which services do Saudi businesses most often take?
- An Arabic-first bilingual website — Arabic as the default language, English as the second, both written properly — through our web design service.
- Google Ads and Meta Ads in Arabic, targeted to Riyadh, Jeddah or the Eastern Province rather than the whole Kingdom, with conversion tracking wired to WhatsApp and call clicks — paid advertising. Saudi audiences also spend heavily on Snapchat and TikTok; we tell you honestly whether those belong in your plan.
- Brand identity with Arabic typography treated as the primary script, not an afterthought — brand strategy & identity.
- Content and social management for clinics, restaurants, real estate and retail — content & social.
- Custom CRM and ERP for trading, contracting and distribution companies that need quotes, orders and ZATCA-compliant invoices in one place.
Companies that want one team running all of it take the full-service marketing retainer.
How do pricing and payment work across the border?
We quote a fixed written price in AED before work starts. The Saudi riyal and the dirham are both pegged to the US dollar, so the conversion is stable: 1 AED is roughly 1.02 SAR. A quote of AED 10,000 is about SAR 10,200; treat these as approximate and check your bank's rate and transfer fee.
Typical GCC market ranges for websites:
- One-pager — from AED 1,500 (≈ SAR 1,530)
- Brochure site, one language — from AED 4,000 (≈ SAR 4,100)
- Bilingual Arabic/English business site — from AED 9,000 (≈ SAR 9,180)
- E-commerce store with Mada-ready gateway — from AED 15,000 (≈ SAR 15,300)
Other services are on our pricing page. Payment is by international bank transfer from your Saudi account; most clients split it into a deposit at kickoff and the balance at launch. Rush delivery within three days carries a fee.
Why Arabic-first matters more in Saudi Arabia
In Dubai an English-default site is often the right call. In Saudi Arabia it rarely is. Saudi customers — consumers and procurement teams alike — read Arabic first, and a site that opens in English with a small Arabic toggle reads as foreign.
We design the Arabic layout first, right-to-left, then derive the English version from it. The Arabic copy is written in clear Modern Standard Arabic with Saudi business terminology, not translated from English and not borrowed from Levantine or Egyptian phrasing. Numbers, dates, forms and the WhatsApp button all behave the way a Saudi user expects.
